THOMAS FIGOVC
Chef Thomas Figovc started his culinary journey 25 years ago after doing his apprenticeship at the age of 16. He got a diploma in cooking from Berufsschule Oberwollanig, College & University, Austria. He then began his career as a chef de cuisine in his hometown Vienna and later started his international career at the Four Seasons hotel in Germany, Jakarta and Vancouver over a period of four years.
Thomas continued gaining culinary experience, being the executive chef in top hotels such as Shangrila Hotel in New Delhi and Singapore, Leela Kempinski Hotel in India and Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut. During this time period he bagged numerous culinary awards as well as two gold medals in Europe and also cooked for many famous people including President Jacques Chirac, former Philippine first Lady Imelda Marco, Kanzler Schroeder and academy award winning American film director and producer Steven Spielberg. Chef Thomas is a culinary expert with a meticulous flair for Italian, French classic, Austrian-German and modern international cooking.
