Dr. ATIF HASSAN

Dr. Atif Hassan is the Director in Hospitality Management at HSHM. His responsibilities include handling curriculum related matters and overseeing research initiatives. He has been a fellow at George Mason University, USA. He did three semesters of cross-cultural global teaching and research experience as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at AIMST University Malaysia and also taught two batches of students from University of Kanagawa, Japan.
He holds a Ph.D in Management from Ifugao State University in the Philippines, an MA in Philosophy from the University of Karachi, Pakistan, and a BS with a specialization in Computer Studies from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Pakistan. He has also received international certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Intel’s Master Trainer. He has been Director at School of Professional Advancement, and Associate Professor and Chairperson, Department of Management at University of Management and Technology, Pakistan. He was also associated with DHA Suffa University, Pakistan as Assistant Professor and Manager Foreign Collaborations.
His research interests include leadership, management, organizational behaviour and human resource management. He has been the chief editor of UMT’s Journal of Management and Research, which employs a double-blind and peer-reviewed process.
