ABOUT HSHM

Hashoo School of Hospitality Management (HSHM) was launched by Hashoo Group in collaboration with the Confederation of Tourism and Hospitality (CTH), United Kingdom.

Students can opt for a degree pathway/UK post-study work visas provided by CTH, with an opportunity to study abroad and gain a degree in Hospitality and Tourism, such as BSc (Hons) International Hospitality Business Management, BSc (Hons) International Hospitality Business Management (Culinary Arts) or as offered by various universities. Post Study Work Visa of UK and Canada is not provided by CTH, It is by their home office.

Leading the hospitality industry for over four decades, Hashoo Group owns and operates the five-star Pearl-Continental Hotels, Marriott Hotels, PC Legacy and the Hotel One and brands in Pakistan. The Group is also in the process of launching four new five-star Pearl-Continental Hotels in Hayatabad, Mirpur, and Multan this year.

In addition to investing in infrastructure, Hashoo Group also realises the significance of investing in human capital development. The travel and tourism industry are right now growing and becoming a key global economic driver. In 2018, the World Travel and Tourism Council Report stated that the travel industry contributed 10.4 percent of the global GDP and creates one in 10 jobs (9.9 percent of global employment). In fact, in the last decade, one in five of all global net jobs have been associated with this sector. The travel and tourism sector are forecasted to rise in the next decade, faster than all other sectors.

One of CTH’s great strengths is that it is a specialist organisation, focused solely on the global tourism and hospitality industries. This has enabled us to develop a far greater depth of working relationship with companies in our sector, providing a level of industry endorsement for our programmes that adds to their value when applying for jobs.

Listed below are some of the many relationships we have with employers, which range from local endorsements from specific hotels to joint qualifications in partnership with leading industry brands.
